Protesting the war on Hamas

Activists in Yemen

Activist in Manhattan, USA

Of course there's legitimate protests against Israeli action resulting in civilian deaths. But the media will generally shy away from pointing out in each protest crowd around the world will be people shouting for Jihad, and people just being openly anti-semitic.

It was loud, but I didn't hear any cries for jihad coming from Manhattan at least.

I don't know what point you are trying to make with adding that statement.... even Jews are "anti-semitic" then?

It is good to see you have titled this the war on Hamas, instead of an attack on Palestinians. what the media (and blogs as well) really seem to shy away from is the truth. I've grow quite sick of hearing everyones opinion on everything including this, all it does is bring more people into the fighting. The days of blindly supporting Israels actions are over. Which does not mean everyone moves over to the other side.
For the life of me I can not understand why and how, in this age of free information it takes so long for people to catch up, or realize the bigger picture and we all just keep going round and round in circles doing the same things over and over.

does Israel have the right to exist - of course! because it does!
Do they have the right to defend themselves? absolutly!
But what is really being attacked in the constant bombing? Israel? "jews"? .... I don't think so.
There was a saying "an eye for an eye- till the whole world is blind"
....... a more modern version would be "a bomb for a bomb - till we're all blown up" !
